Firefox 3 Download Day

For those who haven’t yet heard, Firefox is pushing for a world download record with the release of Firefox 3. Currently no date has been set, but they are taking pledges for downloads on download day. The current pledge numbers are approaching 100,000.

Firefox 3 promises many improvements to web browsing, I’ve been playing around with a beta and can’t wait for the final release.

If you’re worried about losing your favorite plugins, have no fear, many of them are already on board, some have yet to catch up, but I’m certain that the better ones will, if they haven’t already.
